Autism Awareness Speakers w/ General Election PTA Meeting
Please join us this Tuesday, March 22nd @ 6pm in the KDE gym. We will have a brief General Meeting with our elections for the 2016-17 KDE PTA board followed by our Autism Awareness kick off presentation.
KDE PTA will welcome two guest speakers sharing the effects of
Autism and how to be a better friend, teacher and community:
Hannah Abrahamson (Student at Thompkins High School and resident of PMR)
Shannon Mazy (OT for KISD and Opening soon the -We Rock the Spectrum Gym)

Volunteer of the Year Nominations
Our volunteers work so diligently to support Davidson Elementary. Please nominate a Volunteer of the Year by completing the attached form and return to the front office by Friday, March 11th. Forms are also available at the KDE front office. Our Volunteer of the year will be announced at the Volunteer Luncheon on April 21st . More details about the luncheon coming soon. Thank you!

Please submit off campus hours today
Thank you so much to our KDE volunteers! We have over 17,600 hours already this school year which surpasses our volunteer hours for the entire year last year! Please make sure you have submitted any after school or off campus volunteer hours to volunteers@kdepta.org by today, March 8, 2016. After school or off campus include cutting items out for your teacher, counting box tops, preparing JA lessons etc. Make sure your hours are in by TODAY to be eligible for our awesome volunteer awards.
