Dear KDE Parents, Volunteers and PTA Members,
The Nominating Committee is interested in your suggestions for officer candidates to serve on the PTA Executive Board for the 2016-17 school year. This is a great way to make an invaluable contribution to the children at Davidson Elementary. There are many different positions available, so please consider serving on the Board. If you or someone you know is interested in serving in one of the executive positions listed below, please complete the online form below no later than February 12th. The committee will contact all nominees. Be sure to nominate only those who have given their consent to serve if elected.
Online Nomination Form: http://goo.gl/forms/iLmHWvRJ1U
All nominees being considered for office must be PTA members in good standing and be able to successfully fulfill the duties of the position. Elections for the 2016-17 PTA Board will be held at the March 22nd General Membership Meeting.
In addition to the Executive Board positions described below, the PTA also appoints over 100 additional standing board members, committee chairs and room parents each year. If you are not interested in an executive board position for next year, we encourage you to consider one of the many great positions that will be made available to parents closer to the end of this school year.
If you have any questions please contact Nominating Committee Chair, Anne Doyle at firstname.lastname@example.org
Thank you for your continued support and consideration!
Note: The Nominating Committee is only responsible for slating the officer positions listed. A nomination does not guarantee the position as an officer, each candidate will be carefully considered for the office he/she is being nominated for. The slated officers as well as any nominations from the floor will be elected by majority vote at our next general membership meeting. All suggestions are confidential.
