Our PTA

KDE PTA

Our PTA provides encouragement and support to Davidson Elementary teachers, students and families in our community.  We support each other with our time and talents. We also offer financial support to provide for our school’s needs that are outside the scope of their budget.

We have impact far beyond our own community too! As a part of the Texas and National PTA, we form the largest child advocacy organization in the country.  Collectively, we have tremendous power to change the lives of children for the better through legislation and education. It’s amazing what we can achieve together!

Board and Chair Positions with Duties

Board Positions with Duties President – Presides over all PTA meetings.  Coordinates work of officers and committee.  Is a member of all committees except the Nominating and Audit Committees.  Authorized to sign on bank accounts.  Attends monthly local, council, VIPS, and presidents’ meetings.  Should attend Summer Leadership seminar, Area 10 conferences, and Texas PTA Convention. 1st Vice …
