PROPOSED LOCAL DUES INCREASE
Texas PTA has voted to increase the amount of their state dues effective August 1, 2024. Considering this increase, a Bylaws Committee was formed and they recommend the following amendment to the bylaws.
Current Bylaw:
Article VII. Membership and Dues, Section 2. Dues.
- Annual dues for each member shall be the sum of national dues plus state dues plus the local dues amount of $5.50.
Proposed Amendment:
Increase the local dues to $6.00.
New Bylaw if Approved:
Article VII. Membership and Dues, Section 2. Dues
- Annual dues for each member shall be the sum of national dues plus state dues plus the local dues amount of $6.00.
The proposed amendment would be for the 2024-2025 fiscal/membership year.
This proposed amendment will be voted on during the KDE PTA General Membership Meeting on May 10, 2024 at 9:00AM in the LGI.
